so i'm close to reaching three years at good ole David Jones. this window run is extra special because not only is it the darkest i've ever seen these installations, but also, i finally got the opportunity to project manage this launch. if you happen to be passing by make sure to check out the whole run, from the exquisite beauty showcases, through the glamorous main bullnose windows, until you make it round to my girls. the team definitely brought their A-game this new collection. walked past Myer on the way home, you guys may stock Givenchy but i can proudly say... we got this!

DJ's big apple.

first day back at work and this is what i get...NYC all up in my face! it's no wonder that i couldn't wait to come back home. i love everything about the launch of the new season: the catalogue, the trends, the theme, the concept and Miranda! the guys did such a great job with the styling, merchandising and of course the graff work kudos to the bro and his mate. a post on the trip maybe tomorrow. right now, it just feels good to be home :)

if you know me well enough, you'd know i don't do too well with colour. but this may be one of my favourite window runs. work has been good for us lately. still hectic as ever, but good. i've also just moved out of the west and into Drummoyne until further notice, i get to see the beautiful view of the bay every morning on the way to work. only surrounding myself with the positive and getting rid of the baggage. life is good.

work is filled with greenery, shrubs and cute old people again. i didn't think i'd be here for another Flower Shower, but here we are. and here are our windows. kudos to the Shu Uemera make up students and wig stylists who brought our mannequins back to life, and of course the clever flower artists from Seed Florist. good luck to all who will be involved in the bump out!

a hint of summer has come in perfect timing with the launch of our new Spring/Summer 2011 collection

 at David Jones. if it's not obvious enough, 'pop colour' is key trend for this season, a challenging but rewarding

 task for me to style seeing colour is non existent in my own wardrobe.

 there had been so much drama and politics behind the scenes of this window run, and i'll be the

 first to say that i'm glad it's all over... until we do it all again in a few weeks for Flower Show.
