Fleuressence.

the scientific composition of our favourite scents is the concept behind this years David Jones Annual Flower Show at the Elizabeth Street store. tonight's official launch marks the beginning of Spring and it's beautiful blooms. i've had the pleasure of working alongside George the amazing florist and his team at Seed Flora Glebe, for the third year in a row. the drama and stress pays off everytime, and there is alot of that weeks leading up to the opening. so grab a granny and make your way down to the show in the next two weeks. and if you see a trendy little Asian man wearing a pair of black framed glasses frantically running around the ground floor, shake his blistered cut up hands and congratulate him on another year well done!

bringing up crazy.

(weird) is an adjective i am associated with more often than not. and though it can be disheartening at times, in most situations i’m thinking the same thing about you. girls question me, boys think i’m strange, and the elders like to shake their heads in disapproval. each to their own.
this design pilgrimage is going to take me to the most fashionable, obscure and inspiring corners of the world. and so i will be posting a day-to-day outfit diary with no restrictions and complete access to my weird and wonderful head space.

letter to a friend.

this card reads//:

if there is anything i have learnt in the past two years it is that you control your own head space.
coming back to Sydney may suck, but that is because you are anticipating on coming back to the old life you left behind. don't do that. you have to train yourself to focus all your energy on the things you want to happen,
and sure enough it will happen...

clouds in my coffee.

a blissful and painful insanity.

a boy once told me that he was opposed to love because nothing lasts forever. although i see this as a poor excuse, it is one that is valid. this post is an ode to the ones that have proven him right.
"And I think it was really ironic because, like, everybody else just thought i had everything in the world, you know, I had no reason to be depressed, everything was sort of at its peak, but inside I was completely lost... - Winona Ryder
