i've had a couple of friends visit the design a space store in Melbourne. Sonja brought me back some pictures, and here's one of them. that's the Check Crew Sweat Jumper in the window! and Hanifah went in to merchandise the stock yesterday and put up some promo pics from the Modern Barbie photoshoot. if you're in Melbourne, be sure to drop in!

looking through my old designs for some inspiration. one day this design will be in production. some day...

"i can transform ya...

it seems that buying cd's have been a thing of the past, which is a shame because having a collection of cd's was the coolest thing back in the day! there hasn't been many new acts that have really caught my attention, which is mostly due to the fact that i still live in the 90's. but CB's latest album titled "Graffiti" is pretty damn good! it has not had the media attention it deserves, so i will make my own recommendation. the deluxe edition offers 20 songs on the record, stand out song for me would have to be track 11: Lucky Me. the whole Rihanna ordeal has somewhat humbled this young man, and created a better songwriter. other stand outs include : I.Y.A, I Need This, Famous Girl and heaps more! (these are just the songs that have been playing on repeat!). go get yourself a copy, i dare ya! i know it's a bit teeny boppy, but it's that good. i wouldn't be admitting it if it wasn't!

i love love love this look! She looks alot like Shannyn Sossamon in this shoot. it makes me want to cut the abundance of hair on my head off.

it's been a busy few days trying to get packaging and signage together for Maiden's Melbourne debut. my noisy thrifted typewriter came in very handy during my time of need. Maiden is now being stocked in a quirky little shop called Design A Space, in Melbourne's CBD. i have been contemplating on getting a space here for a couple of years now, and the time has finally come. so if you happen to be in Melbourne, be sure to visit and say hi to Kavita for me:
