if you know me well enough, you'd know i don't do too well with colour. but this may be one of my favourite window runs. work has been good for us lately. still hectic as ever, but good. i've also just moved out of the west and into Drummoyne until further notice, i get to see the beautiful view of the bay every morning on the way to work. only surrounding myself with the positive and getting rid of the baggage. life is good.

i re-met this boy i once knew from what seemed like light years ago. i remember drawing his portrait in  art class in year 7, and more than a decade down the track i find myself looking through his portfolio of work. he may or may not kill me if he ever saw this post about him, but i don't even think you know how amazing you are... amazing enough for me to trust you to design and do my next ink =)

i am not a fan of celebrity labels, but Kanye's Paris Fashion Week runway debut is certainly gaah worthy. 
the contrasting textures, obsolete shapes and intricate detailing is quite clever 
if i may say so myself. now, how to get my hands one of these pieces...

where the wild kids are.

the first batch of photos are up for the looking. and can i say, out of all the shoots i've been involved with, this would be one of my faves. the creative juices were flowing all day long. 

Rhys and I had been speaking of this collaboration for a few months beforehand, and we literally gathered a team in less than a week prior to the set date. this idea came about once upon a time at a house party i tagged along to. i had met the birthday boy (Rhys) just that night, with me only knowing that this dude was really into his art, photography and extra curricular activities. the first thing he showed me were these branches he turned into headpieces and spoke of all these ideas he had for a shoot. a couple more months down the track, one thing led to another and we began to speak more about collaborating on a project together. with his artistic direction and photography skills, and my awesomeness, we would do mad damage to this industry. get a taste of whats to come... here.

work is filled with greenery, shrubs and cute old people again. i didn't think i'd be here for another Flower Shower, but here we are. and here are our windows. kudos to the Shu Uemera make up students and wig stylists who brought our mannequins back to life, and of course the clever flower artists from Seed Florist. good luck to all who will be involved in the bump out!
