another computing assignment, this time on fashion figure sketches. my muses for this assignment are Lily Donaldson, Mak Weinman and Miranda Kerr. i may need to buy one of those drawing pen thingy-majigies for the Mac. it allows you to create smoother strokes. buy me one please?...

there's something about you.

i have a confession to make, i'm afraid of those golliwog dolls. it started in primary school when i used to read Enid Blyton books, one of the stories was about a golliwog and i would have nightmares about them. but i found this image yesterday while i was suppose to be finding other things, and now i kinda think they're cute. we'll see how i feel tomorrow after i dream tonight...

i never really knew what the big fuss was about Sass & Bide, but after doing a study on "The New Grace" collection, i finally see the light!

FACE Fashion.

here's some photos from last Wednesday's fashion show. this was the stand out collection for me, by Bernadette Sassine. it was a good turn out, the place was packed. coming into the venue you pass this red carpet area where photographers take photos of you and to my surprise the girls behind a couple of those lenses were my two friends Victoria and Julie who i have worked with in the past shoots. i also got to meet Marvin, the man who i hope to work with for my future runway show. it was an awesome night, thanks to my beautiful friends Keen & Lexy who took me along to this event! x

i found some more Mak pics, love this girl! so i'm going to sit through my first official fashion show tomorrow night with two of my great friends Keen & Lexy. the show is held by FACE Fashion at the MCA. i will be bringing my cool new photo snapper with me - along with my Cue dress the bf got me a Nikon Coolpix P80 (i think he really loves me!) TAFE has been pretty full on but fun at the same time. we seem to bonding quite nicely and some dancing is starting to take place!!

it's a good day for shopping.

the bf took me pre-bday shopping yesterday, yay! he got me this beautiful dress from Cue, i am seriously in love with it! of course i chose it, my turdle and i don't have the same taste in clothes, but he agrees that this one's a winner! i already have a couple of occassions in mind to wear it too. it was a great start to the day. i also got my biker jacket i ordered in 2 weeks ago, which i equally love!

back to school next week. holidays are never long enough...
