maiden loves photography.

we are so very pleased.

after our big day of shooting yesterday, we are now in the process of photoshopping and picking out the best pics for our promos. we were very fortunate to have a beautiful heritage home opened to us by Ren's auntie in Bondi, and a very experienced model on board! 

there was alot of moving around and eating going on, so much so that we left when it was already dark. our last site was at the basement next door, which we called the "Saw" room. it wasn't until then that we thought of playing rock music to get in the mood. as soon as we pressed play we went trigger happy, and as for the end result... you decide.

before i get to blogging about our very busy day at Bondi, i'd like you to meet a new recruit to our family...

fellow maidens, meet Miss|Jessica Lee (and her gorgeous red pumps). at age 24 this girl is not a newbie to the Arts. if she's not at uni, she'll be found auditioning for television and theatre. it took me six years to get my act together and get this girl on camera, i saw great potential in her back in high school and now *tadaaa* ~ she's a Maidenette! 

this beautiful budding actress will be big one day, and i'll get to say "hey! that's my friend Jessica...  

i created a mess... and i like it!

so my work colleague calls to ask if i could cover her shift after having just finished my own shift. so i said "no way Jose! why would i come back to work when i have this wonderful mess waiting for me...

this was my peaceful Thursday night...

on tomorrows agenda, we are shooting our Spring/Summer '08 collection!! can't wait~

dad's kicking me out of my little corner in the kitchen... but he is building me my own studio in the garage. i'm so amazed at what he can do, who knew he could scaffold and do flooring?.. not me! well this is how it's looking at the moment. it's going to look super uber once i put my finishing touches on it! can't wait, maybe you can visit me someday!

after a great response from our Summer'07 collection, i've decided to bring back this beautiful melon colour into our Spring/Summer '08 palette. Maiden's got two super cute jumpsuits up for grabs. 

this is just a sneak peak... i know you're gonna love it. 

i grew me a flower.

made from the odds & ends of material, i've created pretty little flowers. but i don't know what to do with them yet? should they be brooches? headbands? or even hair clips??

drop us a suggestion or an idea, i might take you up on it...

meet Miss|Brigid Anne, the second Maidenette off the line, also known as my baby cousin.

turning 21 this year, our token 'girl next door', this lovely young lady is just starting to see her potential. the world is her oyster and i just can't wait to see what she makes out of it!

with today's cost of living set to send the Australian population broke, it's nice to find things for a very affordable price! here are a few things i've bought with the last dollar in my pocket.

- 2 vintage vinyls including my not so secret fave rockstar Bryan Adams. each for $1 found at Trash n' Treasures.

- an audio biography of my all time fave person Aaliyah. also from Trash n Treasures.

- and a roll of vintage wallpaper. for just ONE DOLLAR at my local Vinnie's.

in a duration of time i will be revealing to you all, the infamous faces of Maiden, who i will nickname the Maidenettes. carefully handpicked by me, these girls are set to make heads turn and will hopefully spread the love to other maidens out there. allow me to introduce to you the beautiful ones...

first off the line up is Miss|Vania Emily, aged only 19, the youngest of them all. she is in love and enjoys "pretending to play the guitar". and i have captured that moment beautifully. i chose this girl because of her unique style - conservative yet sexy! and also because she's got the most gorgeous face i've ever seen!

she's a friend of a friend of another friend of mine!

so there's this new label Cherie Cheri, who i will proudly call a sister brand of ours, who are ready to get you in bed with the cutest pj's in town! i heard they will be selling in Glebe this November as well. so it's all really exciting for us!
